Dreamfeed provides an online crowd-funding platform for these musicians to raise funds from fans in exchange for a potential share of the profits of the musicians’ next album, or personalized goods such as an autographed CD or concert tickets. Other services include legal advice and distribution assistance, as well as promotional activities through initiatives such as Dreamfeed-hosted concerts. Dreamfeed is initially targeting the Toronto music scene, Canada’s music mecca, with expansion plans to major urban cities across the country and eventually into the US.
