An Elegant Celebration of the Entrepreneurial Spirit

Each year a well-known Canadian entrepreneur delivers an inspirational and thought-provoking speech at the Gala Dinner held in Ottawa’s historic Chateau Laurier hotel. Over the course of the meal, the audience is introduced to each Finalist team and views each team’s elevator pitch. At the end of the evening, The National Nicol Award—the “Nicol”—is presented to the Winning Team. An inspirational and always thought-provoking dinner speech from a well-known Canadian entrepreneur highlights an entertaining and memorable evening held in the ballroom of the Chateau Laurier in Ottawa. During a delicious three-course meal, each team's elevator pitch from the previous day is screened before the audience and then, the moment we've all been waiting for, the winning plan is announced and The National Nicol Award - the "Nicol" - is presented to its creator.
